Anders, Wayne V., 96, retired Boeing supervisor, died February 15, 2024.

Wayne was born January 22, 1928 to John and Elsie (Vogts) Anders in Moundridge, Kansas. Survivors include his sons, Timothy (Janet) Anders, and Bradley (Sheila) Anders, brother Ira (Nina) Anders, sister, Irene (Bill) Van Wey, grandchildren, Amanda (Nate) Blair, Travis Anders, Brooke Anders, Austin Anders, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and a nephew. Preceding him in death were his parents, and sister, Helen (Bill) Hobbs.

Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Petersen Family Funeral Home, 215 North Main Street, Newton, Kansas. Funeral service is 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 23, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church, 225 South Poplar Street, Newton, Kansas with The Reverend Kurt Letcher presiding. Graveside committal will follow the service at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, 701 26th Avenue, Canton, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made out to Zion Lutheran Youth Account and left in care of Petersen Family Funeral Home.
