She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Mary Frances who passed away at birth, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kay worked as a medical transcriptionist at Axtell Hospital and then Newton Medical Center for over 30 years.  Kay’s great joys in life were her family and country life with all of her animals.  She hosted family holiday gatherings for many years.  Her love of horses kept her busy with her grandkids’ 4-H horse projects and county and state fairs.

Alzheimer’s Disease took her away from us too soon, and eventually took her from her home.  She passed away peacefully at Schowalter Villa on July 12, 2023.
