Vickie Friesen

Victoria Ruth “Vicki” Friesen 68, died Friday, December 16, 2016 at St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas. She was born September 26, 1948 in Newton, Kansas to Dale and Betty (Benbrook) Koehn.  She was married to Ken Friesen and he survives of the home.  Vicki worked as a Medical Aide at the Newton Presbyterian Manor in Newton for 33 years. She attended First Church of God in Newton and enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles.  Vicki enjoyed learning facebook and re-connecting with her friends and family online. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family and many friends.

She is survived by her husband Ken of Newton; son Art and his wife Mona of Newton; Grandchildren Cory and his wife Abby Friesen, Kyle Javier and his wife Krystina, Alisha Bence, Codi Hinderliter and Erika Javier. Brothers David Koehn of Wichita, Cecil Koehn of Newton and sister Peggy Eason of Newton. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at First Church of God at Broadway and Fairview in Newton with Pastor Clint McBroom presiding. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Petersen Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Burial will be in the Restlawn Gardens of Memory.
