Vernon Koehn

Vernon Koehn 90, died Sunday, December 18, 2022, at his rural Marion County residence.  He was born February 14, 1932, in Ingalls, Kansas to Manno and Eve (Jantz) Koehn. He was married to Florene Smith who preceded him in death in 2009.

Vernon was a longtime member of Eden Church of God in Christ, Mennonite rural Burns. He served the church in many capacities through the years including as a presiding minister.

He is survived by 4 daughters Judy Koehn; Kathy (William) Bender; Wanda (Renferd) Koehn and Janarro (Kevin) Jantz. He is also survived by a brother Walter Koehn and 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. 

Vernon is preceded in death by his parents, wife and 5 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday December 22, 2022, at Eden Mennonite Church in Burns. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Eden Mennonite Church in Burns.
