The Reverend Dr. Diana Leaf was born on December 6, 1948, and died at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas on January 26, 2026, at the age of 77, after a brief illness. Rev. Diana was preceded in death by her father, Woodrow Wilson Leaf, her mother Modest Fowler Leaf, and her teenaged, and only sibling, Ronald.
Rev. Dianna grew up in Oklahoma City where she attended the Disciple Christian Church. She was employed by a local art gallery where she grew very knowledgeable regarding the art industry as all performing arts.
She later attended Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she received a Doctor of Ministry. Her life in ministry led her several states, serving in Disciple of Christ and/or United Church of Christ churches. She was currently serving on the campus of Kansas Christian Home in Newton as the campus chaplain.
Following the death of her mother, she moved with her father in 2011, to Newton, residing on the Kansas Christian Home campus where she made many dear, close friends.
Rev. Diana was survived by her extended family including her very dear Kansas Christian Home friends and family. Diana’s wishes were to be cremated with a Celebration of Life service to be scheduled at later date at the Kansas Christian Home chapel. Diana will be interred near her parents in a private ceremony at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
