Susan "Sue" Kangas, age 74, passed away at Wesley Medical Center on January 30, 2026.
Sue was born on September 20, 1951 to Nester and Helen (Osteroth) Maijala in Hancock, Michigan.
A memorial service for Sue will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Peabody United Methodist Church in Peabody, Kansas. Memorials are suggested to the Peabody American Legion and may be left in the care of Petersen Funeral Home in Newton, Kansas.
