Sue Eileen (Kingsbery) Beaulieu passed away at the age of 73 on June 9, 2026, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on February 11, 1953, in Pasadena, Texas, near Houston.

Sue was a loving and soft-hearted woman who always set her goals and worked tirelessly to achieve them. She earned her Associate's Degree from Tulsa Junior College, a milestone that reflected her dedication to learning and personal growth.

Throughout her life, Sue called many places home, including Tucson, Arizona; Houston, Texas; Muskogee, Norman, and Sapulpa in Oklahoma; and finally Newton, Kansas. Each of these places held special memories and chapters in her story.

Sue enjoyed spending her time gardening, getting lost in books, writing newsletters, and conducting research. These interests brought her joy and allowed her to connect with the world in thoughtful and creative ways.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert L. Beaulieu, and her sister, Kay M. Holmes. Sue’s parents, Robert H. Kingsbery, Jr., and Margaret E. Taylor, preceded her in death.

Sue Eileen Beaulieu will be remembered as a kind, determined, and gentle soul who touched the hearts of those around her. Her warmth and spirit will be deeply missed but fondly cherished by all who knew her.

A private service will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Via Christi Foundation, and may be left in the care of Petersen Family Funeral Home, Newton, Kansas.
