In loving memory of Reba F. Lentz. Reba passed peacefully in her home on July 5, 2023 in Aurora, Missouri. She was born to Tom E. and Dollie Ball on January 23, 1935 in Mapleton, Ks. In her mid 20's she met Raymond Lentz while working in Wichita, Ks. They soon married and started a family and serving the Lord together.
They moved to Newton, Ks in the early 70's. Reba opened an in home daycare which she did for over 30 years. When she and her husband retired they moved to Aurora, Mo. She accepted the Lord as her Savior in her early 20's. Her desire was to have her family and all those around her to know the Lord.
Reba was preceded in death by her three sisters and two brothers. Along with her husband and son, Teddy Dean.
Survived by her children, Tom Lentz, Trinidad Lentz, Gail & Dennis McDowell, Tim Lentz, Terry & Nancy Lentz, Tony Lentz and Amor Nicilla.
Along with 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 3 more on the way.
She is known for her love of family and love & faith in God.
There will be a memorial service held at her church, Aurora Baptist Temple in Aurora, Mo. on July 15, 2023 at 11:00am
We will have a visitation Friday, July 21, 2023 from 4pm-9pm. Then a funeral service on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 10:00am. Both at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel in Newton, Ks. With a graveside service following at Resthaven Garden of Memory in Wichita, Ks.
