Paul Bean

April 15, 1938 — April 29, 2023

Paul Bean passed away April 29th, 2023. He was born in Newton, KS April 15,1938 to Preston Charles (P.C.) Bean and Miriam Katherine Wilkerson Bean. He graduated from Newton High School and later married Carole Aileen Berger of Halstead and were later divorced.
He held a variety of jobs, later joining his father P.C. in running Bean Radio and TV in Newton. After his parents passed, he tried running the family farm for a while, but eventually returned to using his exceptional mechanical and troubleshooting skills, fixing electronic components and then branching out into appliance and HVAC work. He was also a veteran radio operator of the United States Naval Reserve.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and going to the lake with family and friends and spent winters at Lake Texoma until his health no longer made that possible.
