Patricia "Pat" Louise (Ralstin) McLinn passed away on August 2, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, education, service, and love. Throughout her life, Pat touched countless hearts through her dedication to her family, students, and church.

Pat attended Sedgwick Grade School, Sedgwick Junior High School, and Sedgwick High School, where she was actively involved in both the school band and chorus. Her passion for learning led her to earn a Bachelor's Degree from San Bernardino State University, followed by a Master of Science degree from Walden University.

On August 14, 1976, Pat married the love of her life, Daniel E. McLinn, in a ceremony at Sedgwick Christian Church. Together they built a life centered on faith, love, and service.

Education was more than a profession for Pat—it was her calling. She dedicated her career to teaching students in both California and Florida, inspiring young minds with compassion, patience, and excellence. Her commitment to education earned her numerous honors, including being named Teacher of the Year for the 2006–2007 school year and receiving the Ocean Science Leadership Award.

Pat embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity. She found great joy in scuba diving and had a special passion for underwater photography, capturing the beauty of God's creation beneath the sea. She also enjoyed quilting, photography, art, and music, expressing her creativity in many meaningful ways. A cherished collection of angels reflected both her appreciation for beauty and her enduring faith.

Her faith in God was the foundation of her life. Pat faithfully served her church as a Sunday School teacher and pianist, sharing her gifts with humility and devotion. She lived her faith daily, offering encouragement and hope to all who knew her.

Those who knew Pat will remember her as a loving, generous, kind, joyful, and devoted woman whose unwavering faith guided every aspect of her life. Her gentle spirit and servant's heart left a lasting impression on all whose lives she touched. Pat will be deeply missed.
