Linda L. Alldredge, born on December 13, 1949, in Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026. She was a beloved wife, mother, and cherished family member whose presence touched many lives. Linda's unwavering devotion to her family was evident in everything she did, and she thrived in her role as a loving caretaker.
Linda dedicated a significant part of her life to caring for others, working as a nurse aide in a nursing home, where she provided compassionate care to residents. Her professional calling aligned beautifully with her nurturing spirit and her deep love for people.
Outside of her career, Linda found joy in a variety of activities during her younger years. She had a great love for fishing and could often be found enjoying the outdoors, soaking in the beauty of nature. She also treasured the simple pleasure of playing Bingo, which brought her joy and camaraderie with friends and family alike.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Milton Alldredge; her children, Marty Eck, Kevin Eck, Brian Eck, Dustin Evans, Bobby Evans, and Tony Alldredge; and her brother, Ron Zinn. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren Each of them carries fond memories of her warmth and kindness that will forever remain in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Zinn; her mother, Hazel (Madison) Zinn; and her brothers, Steve and Mike Zinn, as well as one sister. Their memories of Linda will be held close, as she joins them in eternal peace.
A visitation will be held on February 10, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Petersen Family Funeral Home in Newton, Kansas, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. Following the service, a graveside ceremony will take place at Restlawn Gardens of Memory rural Newton
Linda L. Alldredge's legacy of love, care, and dedication will forever resonate in the lives of those she leaves behind. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
