Kilar “Ki-Ki” Rain Gillispie, age 15, passed away the evening of Friday, July
16th, 2021.
Kilar was born in Newton, Kansas on June 22nd, 2006 to her parents Joshua
Gillispie and Cree (Titus) Gillispie.
Kilar entered the world roaring and always made her presence known. Her
family and friends would describe her as a witty, fun, and extremely loving
young lady in over-sized clothes. She often raided her dad’s closet for items
to compliment her wardrobe. Actually, her dad’s clothes were her wardrobe.
There was no denying that she was special. From a young age, she started
writing notes to let her family know how much she cared for them. She was
rarely shy and LOVED to record videos. She was a TikTok queen. Her smile
was contagious and there was no doubt she was beautiful inside and out.
Kilar was gifted in multiple sports, her favorite being soccer. She shared this
passion for soccer with her two older sisters. She was determined with a
competitive spirit. This allowed her to excel at everything that she did. She
was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Kilar lives on in the memories of her parents Joshua and Cree Gillispie;
sisters, Keila Rae Gillispie and Kenzi Rai Gillispie; paternal great
grandmothers, Audrey (Gillispie) Stucky, Shirley Warkentin, Wanda Shaw;
paternal great grandfather, Louis Potter; maternal great grandfather Gene
Titus; paternal grandparents Bob and Becky (McCann) Gillispie; maternal
grandparents John and Margie (Sandoval) Titus; many aunts, uncles, cousins
and friends.
Kilar was preceded in death by many other loved ones.
Kilar’s love and kindness impacted many. She truly fulfilled her purpose here
on earth. Her family has been deeply moved by countless stories of those
whose lives she has touched. Her light will continue to shine with the organ
