Life Sketch for Jean Kasper
Jean Kasper, 78, died on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Via Christi-St. Francis of Wichita.
Jean was born on March 31, 1938 in Sedgwick, Kansas to Claude and Linda (Arf) Smith.
Jean was a strong, feisty and independent woman. She played and loved classical music and was an avid gardener. She was devoted to her faith and a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children: Mark and Lynette Kasper, Timothy Kasper, and Nicholas and Terryl Kasper and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Claude and Linda Smith; two sisters, and her daughter: Vickie Kasper.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 18th at Zion Lutheran Church of Newton. A committal will occur following the service at Greenwood Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. on Monday, October 17th at Petersen Funeral Home.
