Irene C Wright

Irene C. Wright 85, died Thursday, March 7, 2019 at her Hesston residence.  She was born November 8, 1932 in Washington D.C. to Constantine and Winifred (Denyer) Lester.  On April 10, 1953 she married John D. Wright at West Lanham Hills, Maryland and he survives of the home.

Irene was a member of the Walton United Methodist Church in Walton, Kansas.  She was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed caring for her family.

She is survived by her husband John of the home; daughter Karen Wright of Hesston, KS and daughter and her partner Julie M Wright and Susan Ellis of Charleston, SC.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Walton United Methodist Church in Walton, Kansas with The Rev. Amos McCarthy presiding.

Burial will be at a later date in the Walton Cemetery.
