Grace Anna Schroeder

December 27, 1927 to January 10, 2023, Hesston, KS

Grace was born to George and Helena Abrahams in Goessel, KS. Grace attended Emmenthal Elementary School and graduated from Goessel High School. She continued her education at Bethel College and Hutchinson Community College.

Grace married John Schroeder on December 10, 1947. They lived in North Newton, KS and raised two children, Jeffrey and Catherine.

Grace was active in the Bethel College Mennonite Church and committed her life to many volunteer organizations.
Grace will always be remembered for her beaming smile, her sense of humor and the love she showed others.

Grace is preceded in death by her husband John. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Schroeder (Mary Kay) of Los Alamos, NM and Catherine Holdeman (Delvin) of Wichita, KS. Grace had four grandchildren; Jessica Schroeder of Colorado Springs, CO, John Schroeder (Jenny) of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Emily Raybould (Mark) of Ramona, CA. and Meghan Schroeder of Santa Fe, NM.

In addition, she had 3 great grandchildren, Sawyer Raybould, Cali Raybould and Zachary Schroeder.

A memorial service will be held at the Bethel College Mennonite Church in North Newton, KS. The service will be at 11:00 am with lunch to follow.
