Life Sketch for Ernest McClellan

Ernest McClellan, 74, died on October 3, 2017 at Via Christi-St. Francis hospital in Wichita.

Ernest was born on December 27, 1942 in Henrietta, Oklahoma to Hobart and Gladys (Lindscomb) McClellan. He was one of thirteen children.

Ernest was a welder and worked in construction throughout his life. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Newton. Ernest is survived by his children: Angela McClellan of Denver, Colorado and Christopher McClellan of Atlanta, Georgia; five brothers and sisters; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Hobart and Gladys McClellan; son: Aaron McClellan; and seven siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6^th, at the Second Baptist Church in Newton..  Burial will follow the service at Reslawn Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Newton.
