Emerita R. Castaneda, 62, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Newton Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 22, 1950, in Nagcarlan, Philippines, to Gregorio?S. and Iluminada (Osuna) Romanes. She married Bienvenido M. Castaneda, and he survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son: Romano Castaneda; daughter: Sunshine?Castaneda; brothers: Gerry, Teddy and June Romanes; and sisters: Norma Asinas and Rinia Veridiano.
Visitation will be 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Petersen Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 2 to 3 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
