Edna (Eddie) Ruth (Toevs) Krehbiel

 EDNA (EDDIE) RUTH (TOEVS) KREHBIEL

 Edna Ruth (Eddie) Krehbiel, 93, died peacefully with family by her side on January 23, 2025 at her residence in Paramount Community Living and Rehab, Newton, KS.

 She is survived by her daughter Ann (Bev) Krehbiel of Newton, KS and son Don Krehbiel and son-in-law John Bush of Dallas, TX, as well as many nieces and nephews, their children, and many friends.

 During her 45 years in North Newton she spent many enjoyable years working at Prairie View Hospital and the Bread Basket, which was founded by her sister-in-law Bertha Toevs. She also spent many delightful hours volunteering at the Et Cetera Shop

 The family is extremely grateful for the compassionate care she received by the staff at Paramount during her time there since 2022. 

 A service of celebration and remembrance will be held at Bethel College Mennonite Church in North Newton, KS., Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11am.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the music department of Bethel College Mennonite Church.
