Chris Kuntz

Chris Michael Kuntz, 72, of Powderly, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Paris Regional Health.

A visitation is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday April 26 at Petersen Funeral Home 

Chris, the son of George & Mary Kuntz, was born Sept. 16, 1952, in Strong City, KS. His career with the railroad spanned more than 30 years, working from Kansas to Florida to Texas. He was an avid golfer and loved his motorcycle which he treated as his third child.

Survivors include a daughter, Kayla Jackson & husband Marcus, a son, Jason Leiker & wife Heather, grandchildren, Primrose McQueen, Pamela Jackson, Christopher Jackson, Maren Leiker, Quinn Leiker, Sailor Leiker, and Birdie Leiker, a sister, Cindy Jones, a brother Randy Kuntz and many friends including his best friend and companion, Loy Allison.
