Cheryl Ann Jackson

Cheryl A. Jackson, age 58, passed away on November 25, 2018 at her home in Newton. She was born on June 9, 1960 in Newton, Kansas to Jacob and Ruth (Stadler) Sacks.

Cheryl graduated from Newton High and she then went on to get an Associate’s Degree as a paralegal. She worked as a paralegal for the State of Kansas for six years. After that she went to work at the fuel counter in Newell Travel Plaza. On May 5, 2005 she married John Jackson in Newton. They were married for thirteen years prior to her passing.

She is survived by her husband: John Jackson of Newton, siblings: Jacob Sacks and wife Rhonda of Florida, and Candy Hardman and husband Larry of Oregon, and sister-in-law, Sony Sacks of Newton.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Jacob and Ruth and brother: Greg Sacks.

Cremation has been requested and no services are pending at this time. Burial of the ashes will take place in the spring.
