Here are some words from his loved ones:

"Here's to the most amazing man I know! Bobby, you were the funniest, most kind-hearted person I ever had the honor of loving. Your beautiful soul has touched so many lives in ways I never thought possible... I'm going to deeply miss my fishing buddy and my best friend. I hope you're still cracking your jokes, with some new ones for me when we meet again. I love you so much, Bobby. Rest in peace, my King!" - Jamie Hefley-Page, soulmate and best friend

"You're so unique. I don't have many words but I love you more than words can say anyways." - Michaela Chronister, First child

"Bobby was a very loving father of five and accepted even more. He taught me everything I know in order to be the man I am today. I am forever grateful for everything he has ever done for me, my siblings, and my daughter. He loved fishing, sometimes I wondered more than me. I know you're not in pain anymore Pops so until next time keep catching those flatties!!" - Damian Chronister, Second child

"I don't know why you had to go so soon but I love you and you'll never be forgotten" - Bradley Chronister, Third child

"My father was a great man. He would tend to fill up the room with fun and laughter, like the sun. We spent a lot of time on the lakeshore fishing. I hope he is up there doing his everyday thing. I love you, Dad." - Jackson Chronister, Fourth child

"Dad, you were the best dad you could be. You always tried your best to make us kids happy. No one will be able to replace you as a father. I love you. Love, Lennon" - Lennon Chronister, Fifth child

"I appreciated that Bobby made my Mom happy and I really loved it when we went on road trips together." - Ciera Page, Sixth child

"He was an amazing person with a hell of a personality and a big heart to everyone he met. He was an amazing father. I'm glad I had the opportunity to be his daughter." - Amanda Fleming, Adopted daughter

"Bobby was a lot of things in his lifetime: funny, charismatic, kind, and to top the cake he was an amazing grandfather. He helped take care of me while I was on bed rest in the hospital, and visited us in the NICU any chance he got. Grandpa Bobby spoiled Olivia like crazy, and never failed to make sure I was okay too. This is a tough loss, but we will cherish every memory and all the time spent with him. Rest Easy Grandpa Bobby, we hope you’re up there making the catches of your wildest dreams!" - Haley Herpich, Mother of Granddaughter Olivia

"My Bobby, my Love - you were the most special baby, so happy and fun. You turned out to be a wonderful man, son, father, brother, friend. No one can replace your hugs and kisses, your BBQ, or your cooking. You will always be Momma's baby. I love you. Love, Mom." - Angel Leamon, Mother

"A big brother like no other. Always willing to help if he could. He gave me plenty of memories to dwell on. He was a great big brother who would paint your nails if you asked but would soak you with a super soaker the next. He was always someone I looked up to and I know the love he carried in his heart lives in his children and family. He meant so much to everyone who knew him and his sense of humor was not for the weak. He is loved and missed so very much!" - Jessica Legge-Novak, Sister

"'Don't worry, about a thing, 'cause every little thing, is gonna be alright' - Bob Marley

I'm really glad I got to call him my best friend of 33 years." - Thomas Dickey, Best friend

"I'm going to miss my fishing buddy." - James (Scott) Gilliam, Family friend

"Well look on the bright side, Scott can't catch your fish anymore." - Quentin Branstetter, Family friend

"Bobby, you were a best friend and like a father to me. Someone who I could confide in and get back honest advice. There isn't enough I can say to explain  how much you meant to me and how much you will be missed. There isn't a time that will go by that I'll be fishing, grilling, or camping without thinking about you. We will miss you very much, and I will do everything  I can to help take care of our family, your favorite son in law." - Lucas Dimmitt, Michaela's Partner

"Bobby had a heart of gold, gave the best hugs and always made us feel loved and welcomed. He stood by me during one of the more difficult moments of my life. He was one of my best friends and my greatest blessings. We had countless nights of MTG, hangouts, camping trips and fishing, holidays and super bowl Sunday's. Some of my favorite times were when we would stay up all night playing games and hanging out, talking about our lives and living in the moment." - Eli Bey, Family friend

"That guy was a ball of happiness and always a great friend." - Adam Stevens, Close friend

"He was so loved by his friends." - Kacie Lynn Deckard, Close friend

"Bobby was a really good friend, a great one at that. Not only to me but to everyone he knew and didn't know. The one thing about Bobby that made him a special person to me is that he was always kind and generous no matter the situation. The "give you his shirt off his back type" of guy. The many memories that he and I shared just hanging out, going to do errands, cooking dinner on the grill for any occasion, or fishing till the wee hours of the morning. I will always cherish those memories with a big smile the type Bobby always had on his face. He will always be loved and remembered by me and many more. Fly high Bobby till next time- much love." - Kyler Koss, Family friend

"I love and miss him. He definitely came into my life when I needed someone with that extra life experience." - Austin Shaver, Family friend

"I want to thank him for being a true friend and being there when I was going through stuff. He was more than a friend, he was my brother and I thank him for being so supportive over the years. I also really wanted to thank him for being so good to my best friend. The love he has for Jamie and Ciera was something beautiful. I will never forget our Sunday nights playing magic and just coming over and talking mad s*** all the time. I think that what I'm gonna miss the most is him answering the phone and immediately running his mouth." - Adam Laplant, Family friend

"He was an amazing family man and cared for everyone who he loved." - Ashley Beyer, Family friend

"He always had a smiling face when I came home or left. His presence is so heavy, I can still sense him here in our driveway." - Angie Kiser, Family friend

"He was my brother and I will miss him!" - Miranda McClary, Family friend

"He was the most honest and trustworthy friend I ever knew." - Jared Phillis, Close friend
