Barbara Davis

Barbara Sue (Neil) Davis 81, died April 4, 2024 at NMC Health. She was born January 27, 1943 in Fort Scott, Kansas to George and Mabel (Poe) Neil. On April 24, 1965 she married Leonard Davis at Enid, Oklahoma and he survives of the home.

Barbara was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Newton. She retired as a dietary technician working at the former Friendly Acres and Newton Presbyterian Manor.

She was a graduate of Stafford High School and attended Enid Business College. She enjoyed being outdoors and had a love for birds, cardinals were a special favorite. Barbara could often be found doing puzzles and sewing.

Her family was important to her and she looked forward to time spent with her loving family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Leonard; daughter Linda Franklin; son Jared Davis; sister Betty Padrick and 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters

Graveside committal service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Whitewater Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday with the family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home

Memorials may be left with the Immanuel Baptist Church in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
